Between trunks and roots, a figure moves without touching the ground. It is a body in suspension, listening, in silent conversation with the trees of Monsanto. Created for the Silvestre Festival, this contemporary dance solo is a ritual of coexistence between humans and plants, where rhythm is not imposed, but shared.
The performer crosses the space like vibrating matter, suspended, cradled by the sounds of the forest and the cadence of a poem that insinuates itself into the air. The body dances in listening, experiencing the skin as pores open to the environment — hands that listen, breath that merges with the blowing of the trees, a presence that lets itself be carried away by the pulse of the world.
"If a sigh smiled" proposes a radical attention to the invisible and the ephemeral. A surrender to time without a clock, to the vastness of silence, to the possibility of touching — without possessing — the other.I’m the stick, I’m the stone, I’m looking for the way.
I’m a bit of everything and sometimes alone.
A movement that lasts in the mouth, on the tiptoe, is nothing more than the impermanence of existence in flux, the sound of the tides.
