Capela da Boa Viagem, in Funchal, hosted and provided the space for the presentation of the reinstatement of FÉNIX, a performance by Rita Vilhena in co-creation with Fátima Spínola, Carina Mendonça and Mariana Camacho, on November 30th and December 1st.
FÉNIX is a creation based on an autobiographical research, where sharing is the source of inspiration. A unique working process between the artists involved, who share stories and creative methodologies to develop a plural reflection on a woman's place of speech. A woman's story is never hers alone, it is hers and that of many others. We are looking for a place of healing and life transformation through artistic creation.
