Palco Experimental - Partícula no Açúcar is an artistic programming project promoted by Partícula Extravagante, with artistic direction by Rita Vilhena, running from April to November 2026. It presents itself as a platform for performances and experimentation in the fields of contemporary dance and video art, primarily dedicated to young and/or emerging artists.

Through an Open Call, five projects were selected for presentation across six sessions, held in different territorial contexts: Lisbon, Setúbal, and Castelo Branco.

Starting from self-representation as a conceptual premise, the project explores the relationship between body, identity, and artistic narrative, fostering encounters between artists, audiences, and sector professionals. Post-performance discussions, the creation of an online archive, and the participation of invited artists reinforce the project’s dimension of research, circulation, and artistic development.
